macOS 10.15: Catalina

Minimum System Requirements
To run macOS Catalina, your Mac needs to meet the following minimum system requirements:
- Processor: 64-bit processor
- Memory: 4 GB of RAM (8 GB or more recommended)
- Disk Space: 20 GB of available disk space
- Graphics: Metal-capable graphics card (Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 or later, or NVIDIA GeForce 640M or later, or AMD Radeon HD 7950 or later)
- Operating System: macOS Mojave or later (for upgrade) or a blank disk for a clean install
- Internet Connection: Required for some features
Compatible Mac Models
The following Mac models are compatible with macOS Catalina:
- iMac: Late 2012 or later (excluding the 21.5-inch iMac from 2012 and 2013)
- MacBook: Early 2016 or later
- MacBook Air: Mid 2012 or later (excluding the 2012 model with a 13-inch display)
- MacBook Pro: Mid 2012 or later (excluding the 13-inch model from 2012)
- Mac Mini: Late 2012 or later
- Mac Pro: Late 2013 or later
NOTE
Note that macOS Catalina is a 64-bit only operating system, and it does not support 32-bit apps.
